Dr. David Jacques-Michaud
After graduating from the University of Montreal’s Faculty of Dentistry in 2020 with honors from the dean, Dr. David Jacques-Michaud turned to this field, which allows him to combine dexterity and artistic flair. Driven by his curiosity and desire to perfect his treatments, he was selected to complete a year of multidisciplinary residency at the CHUM until 2021. During this year, he was able to work with dental specialists and develop solid experience in several areas, including surgery. Dr. Jacques-Michaud is therefore very comfortable with dental surgeries, such as wisdom tooth extractions and gum grafts. He is known for his gentle technique, detailed and clear explanations, and contagious calm.
Originally from Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, he has been living in Montreal’s Little Italy for several years. Outside of work, Dr. Jacques-Michaud plays the piano, enjoys amateur photography, and is a movie buff. He is also passionate about travel, which takes him around the world and pushes him out of his comfort zone. He likes to stay active by participating in various outdoor activities. He also enjoys sharing good meals and discovering new wines and beers.

Dr. Koushiya also deepened her interest in pediatric dentistry during an internship at a clinic dedicated to children, where she particularly enjoyed creating a trusting environment that allowed young patients to have a positive and fear-free experience at the dentist.
